Hallo Hallo....

Good morning people. I had a lovely Shabbos with the H's. Menachem Moshe and I are buddies now. After I came home S came over and showed off her new head accessories. She has style, she has panache, she has enough scarves to choke a horse! She beaded a little, I crocheted a little, it was utterly exciting. We had hot chocolate and conversation, it was really nice. Tossed and turned a bit last night, despite the Ambien, woke up really really late. Decided to organize all my bead jewelry, that was fun. I might want to think about looking into a jewelry box, instead of a bag, but whatever. Planning on hanging out with S later, as she uses me as a guinea pig for her cooking. I am all about it. Then we are off to A.C. Moore for their last "Midnight Madnes" sale of the season. That is where most of my yarn, and beads, and stuff comes from. I do not know what I would do if I did not have a hobby. Crocheting and beading and such definitely keep me sane some nights (shut up everyone who just snorted!) Anyway, I plan on watching the RAVENS today before I do any of that stuff. I need to go find some food, so I am outta here, have a great week everyone!

Traffic Blows

Good Morning all! Shabbos was VERY sleepy. I tried to go to C's Kiddush, but my ankle said no no no. Sat night I left as scheduled to go to Cherry Hill to see J & D. We saw Rent which was, as I thought it would be, PHENOMENAL!!! Anyone who saw the play is going to want to see this. It is true to the play, but different enough to keep everyone interested. I then spent a sleepless night at D's parents house. J & I were up until after 2 talking. It was just so so so so so nice to see them. I miss them a ton, and they live far freakin away. In all, it was truly a pleasure to see them both, and to finally meet my neice (Abby the dog) she is a cute little thing, but does not like new people so much. Anyway, since I got 2 hours of sleep last night I am contemplating a nap, then waking up in time to watch the Ravens game. Today they take on the Bengals, In Cincy. much Hatzlacha to them since I think they are gonna need it. The Ravens only seem to do well against 3rd string quarterbacks and that is NOT who we will deal with today. Anywho....... I guess you can tell how tired I am by the amount that I am rambling.......

WOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was painful to watch at times, and it was LONG (requiring overtime). However, eventually the unthinkable happened, and the RAVENS WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They led 13-6 at the half, and managed to have to go to overtime. Just as exciting as the Ravens win, is that fact that in doing so, the Steelers LOST! I really really really really do not like the Steelers. I know that it makes me small and petty, but I do not care so much. The Ravens are now 3-7 which means that we are NOT going to the playoffs, but on the plus side, we messed with Pittsburghs chances for home field advantage in the playoffs and that just makes me grin! Anyway, I was sort of productive before the game. I did laundry and washed dishes and went food shopping, and I went out and bought some shells for under my less than tzanua blouses, so that was all good. I even remembered to go to the keilim mikvah and tovel the blade for my blender so that I can make smoothies. I still have more laundry to put away, but I think I am going to either curl up with a book or crochet....... that is all from scenic Baltimore!

Update

Now that my phone is dehydrated (hamayvin yavin) it is working again. Those of you that know the number feel free to use it. Those of you that do not... tough noogie! I am recently back in touch with an old friend (older than me, anyway) and it is nice to recall those times. Well at least sometimes it is. I am back from giving bathes to H kids, and I am all wet. Also, my Shabbat food is in the oven. Anyway, gonna go unwind and watch a movie with S. G'nite y'all

Another Saturday Night....

I know I have used it before, but if you don't like it, don't read it! I hope everyone had a Good Shabbos. I got my car back Thurs night, and as a bonus when I went to drop off the insurance check, the mechanic (angel that he is) told me that he absorbed the cost of the deductible, and that I did not have to pay it. How cool is that? Incidentally, that was a hell of a run on sentence. I think I am going to watch that Bobby Darin movie tonite, "Under the Sea". Anyway, have a good night y'all

Mazal Tov to the H family. Welcome to Menachem Moshe. He is KE"H ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!! He handled the indignity of this morning with minimal fuss. I am so tired. I am gonna take a nap I think. Not much exciting to do today. Gonna nap and watch the football game (Ravens not losing yet), then tomorrow I will take car to mechanic, and deal with Geico.

TIRED............

I have a feeling that if SM ever reads this she would say "what do you have to be tired about........ You did not just give birth!" In any case, I am zonked. Perhaps too many craft nights. I am having such a good time tho, hard to stop. In any case, for Shabbos I am off to SM & D's. Shalom zachor for baby boy H, who IY"H will have a new name Sunday. Which reminds me, I am not gonna sleep well tonite (too wound up) and we will see about Shabbos, but Sunday I have to get up at (gulp) 7, which is JUST WRONG for a weekend!

Gutten Mo'ed

Well the title really says it all. A Guten Moed to you all, or for your Hebrew minded types, Mo'ed Tov. I had a lovely first days of Sukkot at the H's house. SM still has not gone into labor, so Yom Tov was actually kind of quiet. I am trying to make it an early night tonite, cause I am tired. Anyway, off to work tomorrow!

So it is Friday. Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur are both behind us. I made it through the fast, if anyone cares, with just some dizziness and naseua, and a MASSIVE headache, that finally abated around noon today. Work was hectic, as if people suddenly woke up today and went "Crap!, it's Friday, and I have NO food." Pretty crazy! Mazal Tov to Meishar on his bris, welcome to the Tribe my friend! (That's him and his yummy self at the left there!) Anyway, so my plans for Sukkos are to be at Chez H, unless SM goes into labor, in which case I will probably go to the senior H's, since they invited me. Hope that everyone was inscribed for a good year. Shabbat Shalom from Baltimore!

MAZAL TOV L & J!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you guys so much. The wedding was amazing from beginning to end. This wedding was so much fun. In case y'all could not tell, I went to an amazing wedding on Thursday night. I also had the privilege of going to Shabbat Sheva Brachot, and then the distinct pleasure of driving home at 10 pm!! Severely sleep deprived, but lovin life!

First of all before I get into my feelings about Israel... I just got home from J & R's wedding, and it was beautiful!!!!!!! They should have every happiness and all the mazal in the world!!!!
I thought I was going to talk about he disengagement but I am not.... suffice it to say that I hope everyone involved was able to make their peace with what they did. I know everything HE does is for a reason, and I just wish I knew what it was....
