Thanks for the ideas! Mashgiach is bad for me, as I can currently stand on my feet, but the others are good solid leads. I like the first option best, but hard to do with no money in the bank.........

But, at the risk of making you feel neb-like, why not a wheelchair? This is America - they can't discriminate against you for being in one, and that way you can roll over your boss's toes with legal impunity. And think of how impressed they'll all be when one day you get up and walk out of the chair and can yell, "I'm healed! I'm healed!" They'd probably give you a raise.
Go to monster.com and search for Ripkin Baseball in Baltimore. They need a receptionist. How better can you combine sitting down with a love of the game?
Of course, they're paying doody. But it's worth a shot!!!
